Microelectronics in Signal Processing and Communication

Course Description

The purpose of this course is to investigate the various type of data conversion system in modern signal processing and communication applications, which is of the most key components in such electronics system. The performance characterization will be discussed according to the IEEE standard, and various type of conversion systems will be discussed. Practical implementation and consideration in various types of data conversion circuits and systems in, including opamp considerations, front-end Sample-and-Hold design, switched-capacitor signal processing circuits and comparators.
