Course Description

Introduction to linear integral equations, Fredholm Theory. Laplace and Fourier transforms. Principle value integral, Sokhotksii-Plemelj Lemma, singular integral equations. Convolution kernel over the real line and half line. Second order ordinary differential equations with regular and irregular singular point. Hypergeometric and Confluent Hypergeometric equations. Topics in special function and orthogonal polynomials.
