DESCRIPTION:   \nIntroduction\nThe Annual Best Master Award\, introduced in 2024 by Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at the University of Macau (UM)\, recognizes and celebrates the exceptional achievements of master’s students. This initiative aims to highlights academic excellence\, innovative research\, and contributions to extracurricular activities\, honoring the hard work and dedication of students throughout their studies. By honoring these efforts\, FST seeks not only to honor individual accomplishments but also to foster a strong sense of belonging among all master’s students. The award serves as an inspiration for current and future students\, encouraging them to strive for excellence in their journeys. Furthermore\, it strengthens the community spirit within the faculty by highlighting the value of dedication\, hard work\, and intellectual curiosity\, reinforcing the idea that every student’s success contributes to the collective growth and reputation of FST. \nPrizes Being Awarded\n\nTwo top MSc students will be selected per programme\nOne top MSc student will be chosen from each department\nOne best student at the faculty level\n\nRequirements\n\nDemonstrate exceptional performance in academic and/or extracurricular activities\nMust attend the award presentation ceremony on 23 May 2025\nStudent studying below programmes and expected to graduate in AY2024/2025\n\nMaster of Student Studying Below Programmes\n\nArtificial Intelligence\nCivil Engineering\nCivil Engineering (Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering)\nCoastal Environment and Safety\nComputer Science\nE-Commerce Technology\nElectrical and Computer Engineering\nElectromechanical Engineering\nFinancial Technology\nInternet of Things\nData Science (AI Applications)\nRobotics and Autonomous Systems\nMathematics\n\nHow to Apply\nSince each department uses its own application form\, please refer to the department’s email announcements for details in March 2025.
