DESCRIPTION:Talk Review 活動回顧\nThe Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Macau hosted a distinguished seminar titled “Intelligent Sensor/Actuator for Human-Machine Interfaces”\, presented by Prof. Liwei Lin\, the James Marshall Wells Distinguished Professor from the University of California\, Berkeley\, USA. The seminar attracted a diverse audience\, including students and faculty members from various disciplines\, highlighting the broad appeal of Prof. Lin’s pioneering work in micro/nano systems and human-machine interfaces. \nProf. Lin shared his groundbreaking research on micro/nano sensors and actuators\, emphasizing their practical applications in personalized health\, environmental monitoring\, haptic feedback\, biomedical devices\, and robotics. He introduced six key research themes\, such as wearable piezoelectric pulse detectors inspired by traditional Chinese medicine\, graphene-based gas sensors for smartphones\, and ultra-robust piezoelectric robots mimicking cockroach movements.
