學生演示“能量轉換裝置系統”

The Potential Energy Car, which was designed by students from the Department of Electromechanical Engineering (EME), Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), the University of Macau (UM), won the Second Runner-up in the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) Greater China Region Design Competition 2013. Dr. Alfred S. F. Wong leaded and supervised eight students who are Mr. DENG Jia Ming, Mr. HONG Ka Hou, Mr. LEONG Un Lok, Ms. IM Wa Ian, Ms. IONG In Wa, Mr. IEONG Ka Lok, Mr. LIN Chen, and Mr. GUO Dawei with the support from the FST and guidance from professors of the EME department, Prof. Lap Mou TAM, Prof. Pak Kin WONG, Dr. Kin Ho LO, Dr. and Zhengchao XIE. The students got excellent results in The IMechE Greater China Region Design Competition 2013, which was organized by The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). The contestants are come from different universities, including The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, Hong Kong City University, Guangzhou College of South China University of Technology etc..

澳門大學科技學院學生的綠色能源概念設計:“能量轉換裝置系統”,以節能、高效、創意等優點脫穎而出,勇奪第二屆英國機械工程學會大中華區設計比賽季軍。參賽隊伍來自大中華區多所知名大學,包括:香港大學、香港中文大學、香港理工大學、香港城市大學、香港專業教育學院、華南理工大學廣州學院、澳門大學等。

八名澳大機電工程系三年級學生:鄧家明、洪嘉豪、梁遠樂、嚴華恩、容燕華、楊嘉樂、林琛及郭達偉在助理教授黃承發的帶領下參與是次比賽,並在設計及製造期間得到譚立武教授、王百鍵教授、羅健豪博士及謝正超博士的指導。該能量轉換裝置系統以節能、高效、實用和具創意的優點,結合環保的概念設計而成,有助環保產業發展;此外,作品以水的勢能達致展開該裝置的機械結構的概念,令其他參賽者嘆為觀止。

有得奬的澳大學生表示,設計“能量轉換裝置系統”時考慮了能量轉換的效益和機械設計的簡單化及實用性,也遇到不少難題,幸好得到科技學院的支持及機電工程系各老師的悉心指導。另外,參加比賽加強了與各地大學生的交流,獲益良多。
