The computational geometry is a new subject. In this talk, we will talk about what is the computational geometry, why we have to study the computational geometry, and how we can study the computational geometry. Some of related results will be presented in this talk. Moreover, some open problems will also be given too.

Prof. Ren-Hong Wang is currently Professor of School of Mathematical Sciences, Dalian University of Technology. His research areas mainly focuses on Computational Geometry, Multivariate Splines, Numerical Approximation, Numerical Analysis, and Computer Aided Geometric Design.
