Main Academic Contributions

  1. Proposed the exponential-polynomial-closure (EPC) method for solving low (1-4) dimensional Fokker-Planck-Kolmogorov equations.
  2. Proposed the state-space-splitting (SSS) method for reducing the dimension of high-dimensional Fokker-Planck-Kolmogorov equations or high-dimensional nonlinear stochastic dynamical systems.
  3. Proposed the parameter-splitting-perturbation method for analyzing strongly nonlinear dynamical systems.
  4. Formulated the topological variation theory for the numerical solutions of operator equations.
