Graduates of the Master of Science in Smart Power Grid Program are expected to know and demonstrate the following:
- Pilo1 An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, control systems, and sustainable development principles relevant to smart power grids, as appropriate to the degree discipline.
- Pilo2 An ability to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems related to Smart Power Grid.
- Pilo3 An ability to design a system, component or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints, such as economic, environmental, social and sustainability constraints.
- Pilo4 An ability to communicate effectively with the power engineering community and with society at large, by being able to comprehend and write effective reports and make effective presentations.
- Pilo5 An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice related to Smart Power Grid.
- Pilo6 An ability to use the computer/IT tools relevant to Smart Power Grid with an understanding of their processes and limitations.
