Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), formerly named as Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, was originally established as Electrical Engineering in Sept. 1989 based on Portuguese curricula. In order to adapt itself to the changing needs of Macao society, the department has combined from power to microelectronics into Electrical and Computer Engineering.
