Objective

Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory is equipped with modern facilities to support undergraduate teaching and postgraduate research, in the area of Geotechnical Engineering.

Geological Laboratory provides facilities for undergraduate teaching in the area of Geology.

  • Conventional Laboratory Equipment including Oedometer, Direct Shear Test, Triaxial Test, Laboratory Vane Shear Test, Constant Head and Falling Head Permeameter, Compaction, and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) Test equipment





  • One Reaction Frame for model tests with test load up to 500 KN



  • Triaxial Test equipment



  • Rowe Consolidometer and Stress Path Triaxial Test equipment




  • CKC Triaxial Test equipment



  • Field Sampling and Monitoring equipment (e.g. Hand Boring equipment, MASW system)



  • Bender Element apparatus
