Course Exam Scope

  • The course exam is comprehensive, covering all the three modules of 12 topics as installed online for your learning convenience.
  • The course exam is composed of 100 multiple-choice questions, to be completed in 60 minutes.
  • The course exam passing score is 70 points out of the 100 full points, with 1 point earned per question answered correctly.

Instructions

Instructions before the CISC1000 Course Exam:

  • Students should have reviewed the three modules of online course materials covering the twelve topics (chapters) from our suggested text.
  • Students should have completed the review quizzes of the 12 topics installed online in the UMMoodle course site.

Instructions on the Date of CISC1000 Course Exam:

  • Students should arrive at the exam venue 15 minutes before the exam starts
  • Students should follow the steps below on arrival at the exam venue:
    • Put your student ID card on the Computer Desk
    • Login UMMoodle exam site for CISC1000
    • Complete SFQ (Student Feedback Questionnaire) before the exam
    • Complete course exam within the scheduled time slot (60 min)
    • Save and submit exam work before the scheduled end time of the exam
    • Leave the exam venue upon announcement after the exam
  • Students should not be late for the exam; otherwise, they will not be allowed into the exam venue, and will be marked as ABSENT in the result, and they have to sign up for the subsequent exam(s). To avoid being late, students must be inside the exam room 15 minutes before the exam starts.
