The Department of Physics and Chemistry (DPC) of FST celebrated its annual Sports Day and BBQ party on October 19, 2025.
Sports day in the afternoon brought together undergraduate students for fun and friendly competitions. Participants dove into a lineup of classic games like, an intense tug-of-war(拔河), a creative newspaper-ball relay(報紙球接力), along with energetic badminton and three-person football matches. After a series of exciting games, the Year 1 student group won the grand champions!
In the evening, there was BBQ party held in UM campus. More students from all years and staffs have joined together and shared their joy and happiness.
The Sports Day and BBQ party is an annual event of DPC, fostering departmental spirit by allowing students and staff to connect, welcome new members, and build friendship. It was a resounding success, and we can’t wait for next year’s event!
