“2014 機器人與人工智能夏令營”包含三大主題:1)四輪飛行機器人AR.Drone及三輪萬向機器人Robotino;2)兩輪移動機器人Pololu研究和 3)全功能人形機器人NAO的探索。我們為每個主題設計了一整天的活動,包括講授與實驗課程。通過這些活動,學生們將體驗新穎的機器人與人工智能科技並認識基本的嵌入式軟/硬件工程。

“Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Summer Camp 2014” consists of three main themes: 1) Exploration of the flying robot, the Quadricopter AR. Drone and the omnidirectional driven mobile robot – Robotino; 2) Exploration of Pololu mobile robot; 3) All-in-one humanoid robot – NAO. Each theme is designed to have one-day activities, which include lecturing and experiment courses. Through these activities, the students will experience the novel robotics and AI technology and learn some basics of embedded software/hardware engineering.

主題一:介紹世界流行的四輪飛行器 – AR. Drone。學生可以使用本校自行開發之控制系統,於個人電腦上編程並控制AR. Drone,以進行指定路徑的時間賽,並為自己拍照留念。介紹世界職業技術大賽專用多功能機器人Robotino

Theme one: Introduce basic knowledge of computer network, visual surveillance, and object recognition to students and help them to learn these techniques by hand-on experiments on image/video processing, object recognition and network communications. Introduce the world popular quadricopter – Parrot AR. Drone. The students can employ our self-developed control system to program and control AR. Drone from a personal computer. A time competition on a specific path using AR. Drone will be held. Finally the students can use AR. Drone to take photo for themselves for memorial. Introduce the Robotino, the robot platform used in worldskills competetions to the students.

主題二:藉由移動機器人的設計與編程,幫助學生了解人工智能的一些基本知識和智能控制的原理。在設計的比賽中,學生需要調出最佳的參數來完成機器人自走迷宮,以及使用iPad操控機器人進行障礙賽;試著挑戰最佳紀錄吧!

Theme two: the objective is to help the students to understand some basic artificial intelligence knowledge and intelligent control principles by engineering and programming the mobile robot. In the maze solving game, students will need to tune the parameters of the robots for finishing the maze in the shortest time, while in the obstacle race, they can manipulate the mobile robots with iPads. Try the best to beat the record!

主題三:法國阿爾德巴蘭機器人公司研發生產的人形機器人─NAO,是世界上最先進的機器人之一。自2007年,國際性的機器人競賽RoboCup,其足球標準平台聯賽已指定使用NAO。在2010上海世博法國館,NAO演出精彩的團體舞蹈,更是吸引了大眾的目光。在這次的活動中,我們首先會介紹NAO的硬體組成,然後解說其圖形化編程介面的使用。學生可以展現創意,在NAO上面加入各種行為程式,完成每個小組的NAO互動表演。此外,有了來自NAO Store的資源,學生還能實際體驗使用最新最炫的NAO應用程式。

Theme three: the humaoid robot ─ NAO, developed by a French company Aldebaran Robotics, is one of the most advanced robots. Since 2007, NAO has become the specified robot for the RoboCup Soccer Standard Platform League, an international robotics competition. Further in France Pavilion of Shanghai Expo 2010, the wonderful group dances of NAO have attracted the public eye. In this activity, we will firstly introduce the components of NAO, and the next is to explain how to use its graphical programming interface. The students will be able to show their creativities by adding various behaviors on NAO, and each team will accomplish an interactive performance of NAO. In addition, with the resources from NAO Store, they can actually experience the latest and the coolest NAO Apps.
