2021-2022International Collegiate Programming Contest (Asia Macau Regional Contest) starts in UM

The International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is an algorithmic programming contest for college students. Teams of three, representing their university, work to solve the most real-world problems, fostering collaboration, creativity, innovation, and the ability to perform under pressure. Through training and competition, teams challenge each other to raise the bar on the possible. It is the largest and most prestigious programming contest in the world.

Each team is composed of up to 3 college students and can use one computer. Participants need to work together to conduct mathematical analysis, data structure and algorithm design and code writing. After each question is solved, it has to be submitted to the online evaluation system. Team which can solve the most problems in the shortest cumulative time will win the championship and will be qualified to enter the world finals. This year’s competition is held online and offline, and has attracted 100 universities from all over the world to participate!
