Lao Chi Fai, an undergraduate student of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), University of Macau (UM), received the IET Prize 2017 from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Hong Kong.

Lao Chi Fai is very attentive to his studies, and achieves outstanding academic results over the years. During the last semester, he and U Kin Lok participated in an exchange program and studied at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. With the outstanding performance, they received the Endeavour – Cheung Kong Student Exchange Program (ECKSEP) scholarships from Australian Government during their exchange.

The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) is a leading professional academic association in the field of engineering and technology, which currently has over 16,700 members in 150 countries around the world. 澳門大學科技學院機電工程系本科生劉志輝,榮獲由英國工程及科技學會香港分會所頒發的2017年度「工程技術獎」。

劉志輝同學十分專注學習,多年來取得優異的學習成績。去年,他與余健樂參加了交換生計劃,並於澳洲悉尼科技大學學習。憑藉他們出色的表現,他們在交流期間獲得澳洲政府頒發的長江毅進交流獎學金。

英國工程及科技學會是工程技術領域全球領先的專業學術學會,目前在全球150個國家擁有逾16.7萬名會員。英國工程及科技學會的總部在英國倫敦,並分別在美國、中國、印度均設有辦事處。「工程技術獎」實現了英國工程技術學會的使命:與全球的工程界互聯互動,激勵新生力量,支援技術創新,推動業界進步,滿足社會需求。設立本獎項的主要目的是為了表彰工程卓越及激發新生代工程師和技術人員,以加強學會願景,致力於創建一個更美好的世界。
