The ‘2026 UM FST GBA T&E Career and Internship Fair’ was held in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, providing a platform that connected Macao youth with technology and engineering enterprises in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The event aimed to support Macao’s young people in integrating into the country’s overall development.
The fair was jointly organised by the University of Macau (UM), the Livelihood Affairs Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, the University of Macau Advanced Research Institute in Hengqin, the University of Macau Science & Education Development Institute in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, and Zhuhai Dahengqin Yingcai Human Resources Service Co. Ltd. Focusing on the technology and engineering sectors, the event attracted 25 leading companies and offered more than 230 internship and job opportunities in cutting-edge fields, including artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, software development, and network engineering.
Lam Chi Chiu, assistant dean of UM’s Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), said that UM, as a key platform for nurturing high-calibre talent in science and technology, has actively expanded and deepened collaboration with enterprises in the Greater Bay Area in recent years, striving to provide students with broader practical opportunities. During the event, representatives from the Livelihood Affairs Bureau of the Cooperation Zone in Hengqin introduced employment support measures and internship protection policies for Macao youth, helping students gain a better understanding of the Greater Bay Area job market and further promoting talent integration and development between Hengqin and Macao. In addition, the fair offered services such as job matching, CV enhancement guidance, policy briefings, and mock interviews. Several UM students who attended the fair said that it not only provided employment opportunities but also addressed their questions about cross-border study, work, and daily life, enhancing their confidence and determination to integrate into the Greater Bay Area and seize emerging opportunities.
UM’s FST graduates more than 700 students every year. Through collaboration with renowned enterprises in the Greater Bay Area, the faculty aims to expand career development opportunities for Macao youth, support their integration into the Greater Bay Area, promote talent exchange, and foster collaborative innovation in the region’s science and engineering sectors.

雙選會由澳門大學、橫琴粵澳深度合作區民生事務局、橫琴澳門大學高等研究院、橫琴粵澳深度合作區澳大科教發展研究院及珠海大橫琴英才人力資源服務有限公司聯合舉辦,聚焦科技研發與工程領域,吸引25家優質企業參會,涵蓋人工智能、集成電路、軟體開發、網絡工程等多個前沿科技領域,共提供逾230個實習及就業職位。
澳大科技學院助理院長林智超表示,作為培養高端科技人才的重要基地,澳大近年積極拓展並深化與大灣區企業的合作,積極為學生提供更廣闊的實踐平台。橫琴民生事務局工作人員到場開展就業政策講解,簡要介紹針對澳門青年的就業扶持政策、實習保障措施,助力學生更好地適應大灣區就業市場,進一步推動琴澳人才融合發展。雙選會設有職位匹配、簡歷優化指導、政策解讀、模擬面試等環節。有澳大學生表示,雙選會不僅提供了就業機會,更解答了他們對跨境學習、工作和生活的疑問,增強了其融入大灣區、把握時代機遇的信心與決心。
澳大科技學院每年培養超過700名畢業生,期望通過與大灣區知名企業合作,為澳門青年拓展職業發展機會,助力其融入大灣區發展,推動人才聯動,促進大灣區科技與工程產業協同創新發展。
